Applicability

Introduction

Some 2010 - 2011 model year North American produced (NAP) Camry and Camry HV vehicles equipped with steel wheels and wheel covers may exhibit various noises from the wheel covers including ticking or creaking noises. Parts have been made available to address this condition. Replace all 4 wheel covers with the new parts.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the wheel covers.

2. Install the NEW wheel covers.





NOTE

When installing wheel covers, ensure that the wheel cover alignment bar is properly centered in the widest wheel cover retaining tab, as indicated in Figure 1.

3. Test drive the vehicle to verify the noise is no longer present.
