EB62 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL RELEASE HEAD

(a) Install the release head to the shift and select lever shaft.

(b) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap in the slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

-0.2 to 0.8 mm (-0.00787 to 0.0315 in.)

NOTICE:
Make sure that the installation direction is correct.

2. INSTALL FRONT INNER SHIFT LEVER

(a) Install the front inner shift lever to the shift and select lever shaft.

(b) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap in the front inner shift lever and slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

-0.2 to 0.8 mm (-0.00787 to 0.0315 in.)

3. INSTALL INNER NO. 2 SHIFT LEVER

(a) Install the inner No. 2 shift lever to the shift and select lever shaft.

(b) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap in the inner No. 2 shift lever and slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

0 to 0.6 mm (0 to 0.023 in.)
